Demco SBS Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Wire Kit Installation - 2013 Cadillac SRX- Video

Demco SBS Towed Vehicle Battery Charge Wire Kit Installation - 2013 Cadillac SRX

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at installing the Demco charge wire kit on a 2013 Cadillac SRX. Now normally on this installation of a charge line, this is something that you're gonna wanna do when you're installing the rest of your flat tow components, especially your diode wiring, because this ties into your six pole. So having it ready to go one time is definitely the best option. But our neighbor here has their flat tow set up, and they have a mobile braking system, and they realize that, well, the car has to stay in accessory mode so it's gonna drain the battery, because it uses the 12 volt power. So in order to make sure they don't have to start their vehicle to get the battery charged back up, the charge line's gonna be the best option. This is gonna pull that 12 volt power from the seven pole on the RV, and make its way to the sixth pole. more

Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2018 Cadillac XT5

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Cadillac XT5 we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Round Bar Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers Y00408. Part number Y03536, this is the SL Adaptor for roof rack towers, to the roof rack bars, and finally, part number Y00245, and this is the Landing Pad that sits on top of your flush mount side rails here, and everything connects to.Now this is a great roof rack system to carry a wide variety of accessories, such as bike racks, cargo baskets or cargo boxes. These are particularly sturdy bars, that have a high weight capacity, although they cannot be used with T Track accessories. They're also going to produce quite a bit of noise while you drive, however Yakima does have fairings that they sell online separately, to take down that wind noise and drag. more

Demco SBS Air Force One Second Vehicle Kit Installation - 2013 Cadillac SRX- Video

Demco SBS Air Force One Second Vehicle Kit Installation - 2013 Cadillac SRX

Today on our 2013 Cadillac SRX, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the SMI Second Vehicle Kit for Air Force One Supplemental Braking Systems, part #SM99209. Here's what it looks like once it's installed. This Air Force One system's going to be a second vehicle kit, so it's not going to have all the parts that go to your coach cause your coach should already have them in place and this is just to be able to tow a second vehicle, should you have 2 vehicles you want to tow. It's going to be a proportioning braking system. It's going to run off the coach's air brakes, so if you just give it a little bit of a light brake pedal action, your car is only going to have some light braking. It's going to be a one time setup so that this will always be in your vehicle. When the air hose is unplugged, it's inoperative. Once you plug it in, then it's going to operate. The kit's going to come with everything needed to install it into your towed vehicle. Now let's go ahead and show you how it's installed. more

Roadmaster Quick Disconnect Tow Bar Base Assembly Installation - 2011 Cadillac SRX- Video

Roadmaster Quick Disconnect Tow Bar Base Assembly Installation - 2011 Cadillac SRX

Today we're going to be looking at the Roadmaster Quick Disconnect Tow Bar Base Assembly. This is part number 910021-00 This Quick Disconnect Tow Bar Base Assembly is designed to work with the Falcon 2, Falcon All Terrain, Sterling All Terrain, Blackhawk 2 All Terrain, also fits the discontinued Falcon 5250, Eagle 8000, Sterling and Blackhawk tow bars. It's designed to replace a lost or damaged support bar on Roadmaster tow bar assemblies. The Roadmaster Quick Disconnect Base Assembly for our tow bar is going to be a great way to replace any broken or damaged, maybe lost, tow bar assemblies. It uses two pins located right up here at the top with spring clips on them. With those pulled, we're going to be able to easily remove this from our vehicle just by lifting straight up leaving just our removable arms sticking out here in a lot of our base plate kits. As you can see, we can then remove that off the vehicle, take off our safety chains, and it will really leave us with a nice clean look. When it comes time to put it in, we just want to put our base plate arms in. We'll bring in our quick disconnect, and we slide that right down over the pins that are sticking up here in the top. more
